Dr. Murat Üstün

Born in Istanbul in 1969, Dr. Murat Üstün graduated from Ege University Faculty of Medicine in 1992. He completed his General Surgery specialization training at Ankara Training and Research Hospital in 1996 and began his career at Zonguldak Regional Hospital.

Since 2004, Dr. Üstün has worked as a General Surgery and Bariatric Surgery specialist at leading healthcare institutions in Istanbul, gaining extensive experience at prestigious hospitals such as Acıbadem, Medicana, and Memorial. From 2012 to 2019, he made significant contributions to the field of bariatric surgery at Istanbul Bariatric Center and continued to serve at Memorial Şişli Hospital between 2019 and 2023.

Having participated in over 100 national and international congresses, including renowned organizations such as IFSO and BEST, Dr. Üstün is recognized for his extensive knowledge and innovative approach in bariatric surgery.

With over 25 years of experience and internationally recognized work, Op. Dr. Murat Üstün is one of Turkey’s leading names in the field of bariatric surgery.
