Dr. Cengiz Polat began his medical career in 2013 as a general practitioner at Hilvan Community Health Center in Şanlıurfa. He then completed his residency in Anesthesiology and Reanimation at Okmeydanı Training and Research Hospital between 2014 and 2020. Since 2020, he has been serving as a Specialist in Anesthesiology and Reanimation at Prof. Dr. Cemil Taşçıoğlu City Hospital.

Throughout his professional career, Dr. Polat has participated in numerous courses on intensive care, regional anesthesia, and postoperative patient management, and has presented papers at various national and international congresses. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he played an active role in managing intensive care patients. He has also conducted scientific research on specific topics such as ERAS protocols, low-flow anesthesia, and cognitive functions in elderly patients.

Dr. Cengiz Polat is a member of the Turkish Society of Anesthesiology and Reanimation (TARD) and the Turkish Cancer Society (TKD). He is proficient in English and Finnish.
